"Who would've thought..."

When the doors were open and you stayed behind the frame, shut away...who would've thought it would be too late to walk through?

Who would've thought that when you're ready, you're able, you're willing to walk through and break the silence that those doors would close?...those door frames broken and torn down...deteriorated and no longer available.

All that's left is the wall, the walls which held the doorframes that are no longer standing. So you look, that's all you can do, weary and burdened with no one to go to...their frames are no more. Though one door stands, closed as you lean onto it...a knock is heard, constantly, but your heart pumping has overcome its sound.

Till you finally stop hearing, but listening for that knock and see that just like you.....someone's standing up on the other side.....waiting to walk through, and instead of giving the burden, He seeks to lift yours.

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." ~ Revelations 3:20 NIV

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." ~ Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
