"8:18"
Is our pain worth it?
The grief of those passed away or witnessing the living fight to live or wish to die?
The loss of human connections or feeling as though you've lost yourself?
The strife among the world or the troubles we can become so easily entangled into?
Is our life's struggles, lowest lows, pitiful pits and sorrowful states truly worth it?
I'm not talking an overnight breakthrough.
I'm not talking having one or few who always understand.
I'm not talking certainty things will go your way in the end.
I'm not talking trust it's just another lesson to be learned.
I'm not talking "hope" you'll overcome one day through one doubtful prayer.
I'm talking unforeseen joy to come after a not so quiet quench for true freedom and healing.
I'm talking trust in the promise that one day, maybe not soon, you will finally understand.
I'm talking comfort in the unknown, weary of searching and waiting for certainty.
I'm talking toil taught worth it, learnt from what will be revealed.
I'm talking things most people won't believe you've experienced and seen.
I'm talking Romans chapter 8, verse 18:
"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." - Romans 8:18
